Well it’s the 6th day of 2016 and I feel great, and it’s raining in California and I understand if we only need 11 trillion gallons of water (yes 11 trillion gallons) to replace the extreme deficit in our water reservoirs! Who said it never rains in California?

American Heart Association 2016 Rose Parade Float
I covered the Pasadena Rose Parade on January 1, and I must admit that the American Heart Association float really spoke to me! Mainly because of my doctor who told me the day before “You know the older you get the more you need to practice a Heart Healthy Lifestyle”.
I guess I was supposed to thank him for reminding me that I’m getting older. (And No..I’m not giving up Ice Cream)
But I realize it is a very serious statement and I need to do a better job of taking care of myself both physically and mentally. So with that said, I will make it my top New Years Resolution!
