Turkey Vultures Have Taken Over My Park

Turkey Vaulter’s enjoying the sun
The closer I got the more menacing they looked!
This is the first time I ever noticed tags on a bird, so out curiosity I found out they are used for tracking purposes and their are organization’s that you can report that information too, I reported to a group called Hawk Mountain.
I’m by no means a bird photographer but there were so many of them I didn’t get bored and the park is located three minutes from my house. I have a lot of respect for bird watchers, because I don’t have the patience for it!

A world without huge regions of total wilderness would be a cage; a world without lions and tigers and vultures and snakes and elk and bison would be – will be – a human zoo. A high-tech slum. – Author: Edward Abbey
