Day 283 of 365

A Rose in the backyard.

“We pay a heavy price for our fear of failure. It is a powerful obstacle to growth. It assures the progressive narrowing of the personality and prevents exploration and experimentation. There is no learning without some difficulty and fumbling. If you want to keep on learning, you must keep on risking failure–all your life.”
 — John William Gardner

My boss of many years said once to me that if we do not make mistakes it only means two things ..
    1- I am not working
    2- i am not learning
    how true that is ..
Not sure why Michael but this Rose remind me of my Grandmother.. thank you

  2. You h ave to keep learning and risk failure. This reminds me of the song “We fall down, but we get up”. You have to get up.. you just can’t stay there and wonder what if.
