In Search of Poppies

Paid a visit my local state park (Chino Hills State Park) last weekend, because I heard that it had a field of California Poppies and I guess it was a big deal based on the never-ending flow of cars entering the park, which is normally relatively quiet.
While speaking to another photographer he told me “it was such a big deal because it was local and he didn’t have to drive almost two hours to see them in the desert.”
So with tat said I took off on my quest to photograph the California Poppies!
I did see a small patch  of poppies, not nearly as large as the ones you can view in the desert, but I didn’t have to sit in traffic!

Hopefully you enjoy my short photo show, and you find a quest that you enjoy this weekend!

Have a great weekend.

Photo Challenge: Dense

On my quest to photograph the California Poppies in the Chino Hills State Park, I happen to notice these yellow plants covering the hillside and I must say to me they were more impressive than the small patch of Poppies still remaining inside the park.
However if your near the park the poppies are worth seeing before they disappear .
