Lafayette Square, Buffalo, NY.

This is a picture of Lafayette Square, in Buffalo, NY. that I took around 7:00a.m. on a Sunday morning.  The light was nice and there was no one around.
Brief History:
Lafayette Square (formerly Court House Park or Courthouse Square is a park in the center of downtown Buffalo, Erie County, new York , United States that hosts a Civil War monument. The block, which was once square, is lined by many of the city’s tallest buildings. The square was named for General Lafayette, who visited Buffalo in 1825.

The Forgotten War

Korean War Monument, Buffalo, New York

While I was touring the Buffalo Naval & Military Park I came across the Korean War Monuments and one of them had the words “The Forgotten War” inscribed on it and it made be think that I have also forgotten about that war.
So I will dedicate this post to the men and women that fought in the Korean War.

Quote of the Day:
There is hardly such a thing as a war in which it makes no difference who wins. Nearly always one side stands more of less for progress, the other side more or less for reaction.
