The Forgotten War

Korean War Monument, Buffalo, New York

While I was touring the Buffalo Naval & Military Park I came across the Korean War Monuments and one of them had the words “The Forgotten War” inscribed on it and it made be think that I have also forgotten about that war.
So I will dedicate this post to the men and women that fought in the Korean War.

Quote of the Day:
There is hardly such a thing as a war in which it makes no difference who wins. Nearly always one side stands more of less for progress, the other side more or less for reaction.

  1. Our Diggers were involved in a few wars, and many setbacks.. one of the is being forgotten. . The history of our struggle for just disability entitlements and health care goes right back to the late 1970’s. At that time Vietnam Veterans had been marginalised, derided, abused, denied War Veteran disability entitlements.
The Veteran from the Vietnam war were never recognised until a few years back as a war Diggers..
    Thank you for sharing
