This is a picture I took of Paul Jackson Jr. performing at the Riverside Jazz Festival. I’m looking forward to shooting my next Jazz concert in the near future.
Quote of the Day:
“I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.”
Ray Charles
Wow, ray charles really loved the music! What a quote!
Since I visited your blog, I must admit that I had never listened to this music, jazz.
But now I do, and it is not bad, not bad at all! Another style wich I’m not accustomed yet, it still sounds lil weird for me 😛 But, even this, I enjoy it 🙂

Hello Javi, Glad you enjoyed the quote.
Ray Charles is a legend and if ever get the chance see the movie.
I find that most of the people that like Jazz, played an instrument at one time or another in their life. So they really appreciate what it takes to make and instrument talk to you in a way that a voice can’t, the same holds true for classical music which I can only take some much of but it’s the hardest music to master.
I think you might like Paul Hardcastle, he’s a little jazz mixed with rock and funk, I believe he’s from England.
