My interest in photography started over thirty years ago while I was an Eastman Kodak employee, so I didn’t have much of a choice. I honed my skills by documenting school, sports and everyday life of my son and daughter (and my film was free by the way). Since that time ‘I’ve shot anything from the Rose Parade to weddings and just about everything in between.
I’ve never taking a formal course in photography mainly because working for Kodak I had the privilege to have been mentored by some of the best trainers and photographers in the country, so my training consisted of them giving me twenty rolls of slide film and a couple of “How to Books by Kodak” and told to shoot till I got it right!.
Now one of my favorite subjects, besides photographing my Grandkids, is capturing the urban landscape anything from the buildings to its people and telling their story. I want to tell stories with my camera that makes a difference.
